How to choose a starting point based on demand for the service, brand communication and your capacity to follow up.
There is no ideal channel for every clinic. Before dividing your budget, consider whether you need to introduce your brand to new people or respond to existing demand. The journey after the click matters too.
Instagram lets you present your business visually. For a clinic, that requires clear materials, an audience-appropriate message and a profile that helps people get to know the brand. A person may need more exposure to your content before deciding to enquire.
On Search, the starting point is what someone is looking for. A specific search for a service and a location may indicate a more defined need. That does not guarantee a booking: the ad, page, offer and follow-up still need to make sense for that person.
Is there already demand for the service in your area? Do you have materials to present the brand clearly? Can your team respond to enquiries and record what happens next? The answers help define a test with a suitable goal and budget.
Avoid launching too many initiatives without the capacity to monitor them. Define a priority service, the area and the expected action. Assess incoming enquiries before expanding the campaign. Using both channels is not a requirement.
Record where each enquiry came from, whether the person wanted a service you offer, whether they received a response and whether they booked. These details help distinguish an audience issue from a follow-up issue. Costs and performance vary; learning should guide the next adjustments.
