A guide for clinics
How to choose an agency for your aesthetic clinic
Questions to compare proposals, assess portfolios and agree on a working process before hiring.
You can compare proposals meaningfully only when you know what problem you want to solve. A clinic that needs to define its positioning has a different need from one with a clear brand that needs to organize its communication.
1. Start with the business goal
Write down your clinic’s current stage, priority services and the change you expect. Bring specific examples: do people struggle to understand your differentiators? Does the identity feel disconnected? Do enquiries fail to develop into conversations? This helps you discuss an appropriate solution.
2. Look beyond the appearance of a portfolio
Look for distinct brand expressions and readable content. Ask about the agency’s scope and decisions. A visual portfolio demonstrates execution; business results require data, a timeframe and context.
3. Compare deliverables
Ask for clarity on channels, formats, frequency, revisions, approvals and responsibilities. For advertising, distinguish management services from platform spending. Also confirm what your team will need to provide.
4. Understand the workflow before hiring
Who will be your contact? Where will materials be kept? How is the plan approved? The process should let you follow decisions and understand what each side needs to do next.
5. Agree on how progress will be assessed
Match the evaluation to the goal. For communication, consider consistency and audience relevance. For acquisition, track enquiry sources, conversation quality and recorded bookings. Avoid deciding based only on follower counts or promises of results.
Take these questions to the meeting
What problem does this scope solve? What is included and what costs extra? How do I participate in approvals? What information do you need from the clinic? What will we monitor, and how often?
